Architect, Educator, Author, Founder
Our firm was founded by the Swiss-American architect, published authore and builder, Tobias Guggenheimer. A member of the American Institute of Architects since 1987 and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards since 1993, Tobias is a registered architect in Washington State and the Territory of Guam. In the past, he has also been registered in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Tobias is based on Bainbridge Island, near Seattle, from where he manages our global operations.
Principal Architect, Asian Operations
Tobias is joined by Jojo Gallaza, also a registered architect. A graduate of the University of Santo Tomas and long-time member of the United Architects of the Philippines, Jojo has significant experience in architectural design, interior design, computer aided design technology, building systems integration and project management. Jojo has ably managed our Asian office since 2005.
Our long list of architecture and interior design projects include modern homes, traditional architecture, multi-family structures, prefabricated buildings, renovations, commercial spaces, apartments and condominium units, historic preservation, adaptive reuse, restaurants, hotel lounges, hospitality and corporate interiors, a museum, sales offices, multi-story apartment buildings, a mixed-use office building, and a Manhattan net-zero townhouse. These projects, almost 300 in all, have been located in the United States, Europe, Asia, and in the Pacific Islands. Our clientele has included ordinary families, corporate executives, Grammy awarded musicians, fashion designers, five-star hotels, a multi-national bank, property developers and builders, and many others.
