In Tuxedo Park, NY, a bucolic, historic community North of New York City we executed over 50 new homes, renovations, additions, landscapes and interior designs. Our work was conceived to be distinctive while remaining sympathetic to that environment. Renovating the home of Tuxedo Park’s founder we traveled to France, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Philippines, China, India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Nepal to source art, decorative objects and furniture.
In the nearby Frank Lloyd Wright designed community of Usonia we restored the Serlin Residence to its current configuration – while providing technical consulting at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Reisley and Friedman houses.
For Full-Stack Modular we explored applications of their patented prefabricated architecture system for large-scale horizontal and vertical structures. In New York’s SoHo neighborhood we designed a lightweight, prefabricated solution for a shop situated over a Manhattan subway stop. In Greenwich Village we conceived a 12 story, residential ‘sliver’ building on 5th Avenue. We renovated historic homes in suburban Irvington and Hastings, NY – and designed a mixed-use office building in Dobbs Ferry, NY.
